I've been a lifelong patient of Dr. Cheng through my parents, who were patients at his old clinic in downtown Toronto before I was born. By chance, I have been able to continue seeing Dr. Cheng since moving to Vancouver for university, and now come in for Invisalign, TMJ issues, and regular cleaning. The clinic is clean, welcoming, and well-equipped. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Cheng has always been great at explaining my dental issues and is fair with treatment plans. I feel very lucky to continue being a patient of Dr. Cheng at his new clinic in Vancouver. I would definitely recommend Westcoast Smile Dental!
Most professionals will give you adequate care. I require particularly challenging dental care. Dr. Cheng has proposed a game-changing solution. In my first session, a five hour marathon, he worked well beyond the limits of any other of my previous dentists. I am extremely grateful. His staff are wonderful. Dr. Cheng is a great dentist. I went to him after getting clicking and crunching on one side of my jaw. In the consult, he confirmed there was a disc issue, and outfitted me with a Kois deprogrammer. It made me realize I was clenching my teeth during my sleep probably for years, and the appliance helped relieve that. I think it is also helping with my headaches, I get fewer of them when I wake up. I trust in his recommended approach down the road. He's caring and smart. Amali, the practice manager, is very helpful too.

I have been with this great clinic for over 20 years and today just completed another cleaning and assessment with the most awesome dental hygienist in Vancouver, Whitney.
I had such a great experience here! Really thorough, took the time to talk me through everything and help me understand all my options.
My son saw Dr. Norden for a broken adult tooth. He broke two of his front upper adult teeth and initially both teeth got resorted elsewhere however one of them fell out so we ended at Westcoast Smile to try to fix it. Dr. Norden did a fantastic job. The repaired tooth looks even better than the original one. It has stayed in place and no issue so far. Would recommend Dr.Norden and Westcoast smile for any dental trauma.
I highly recommend this clinic (Dr. Cheng, his assistant, Jas, and receptionist Leonie, in particular). Dr. Cheng did a beautiful restoration of my weird little tooth pictured below using only bonding. I had many dentists but West Coast smile is just the best I had so far. From the staff to Dr Cheng, everyone is welcoming, friendly and very professional. I had a tooth removed and I just had an implant work done, heavy duty but that was the smoothest experience I had with a dentist. No pain, very smooth surgery. Highly recommend!

I have enjoyed my visits to WestCoastSmile over the past few years, the staff is so friendly and very knowledgeable. In January I had a gum graft performed by Dr. Cheng. While the experience is never enjoyable, Dr. Cheng and his team were excellent. The procedure went smoothly (hardly felt anything) and the follow up has been very thorough. I feel so much more confident about my smile now. Thank you WestCoastSmile!!
I recently had a gum graft by Dr. Cheng that was very successful. He used modern techniques that did not require me to remove any tissue from my palate which made the healing process more manageable. He was methodical and caring during the process and very attentive during the post-op. Highly recommend Dr. Cheng and the rest of the WestcoastSmile Team.

I felt safe, and relaxed during my appointment. The dr explained everything so well even if there are medical terms that he used: he explained it all very clearly. He used images to help me understand and I definitely felt more knowledgeable and smarter walking out of the office. It was a pleasure going for my appointment and felt very welcomed by the staff.

I went here based on other reviews saying the hygienist was incredibly gentle, and Kim was so gentle! I barely felt it when she checked my gums depths! And she was so kind and positive. Can you believe I left the dental office happier than I arrived? Thank you, Kim!
I've gotten to know other staff too and they are all exceptional! I kid you not, whoever is the hiring manager went talent scouting!
The dentist, Dr Cheng, is helping me with the root case of my jaw pain. I didn't know it was even possible to be pain free without surgery! He has youtube videos explaining the science, and he also spent a lot of time in the office answering all my questions.
The receptionist goes above and beyond to fit me into the schedule. She contacts me when they have a cancellation or to accommodate rescheduling. I really like their texting system!
I recently went in for an invisalign consult and the specialist really listened to what I wanted from the visit.
